We are looking for a 3D Environment Artist to join the development of โCentury: Age of Ashesโ on PC, consoles (Next Gen and Old Gen), and mobile, on Unreal Engine 4.

You will work closely with the whole team involved in the creative work (game designers, 2D and 3D artists, animators) from several studios of our company from all over the world.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
We are looking for an experienced and talented environment artist to join our game team.
You will work closely with other artists, producers, game designers, and developers, to bring our Dark Fantasy title on PC, console, and mobile.
Job Responsibilities
Work together with other members of the team, especially developers and lead environment artists, to establish the scope of the art requirements;
Collaborate with other team members on enhancing the visual fidelity of the game world to the absolute limits of the game engine, within the relevant memory and performance restrictions;
Work with the Art Director and leads on establishing, documenting, and maintaining production pipelines and continually revising game environments, and refining visual quality;
Build environments according to requirements and blockouts, bearing gameplay constraints such as traversal and measurements in mind, as well as technical constraints (heap, performance, lighting methods);
Adapt game environment assets when needed to the smallest platforms, respecting the visual quality as well as meeting the technical requirements;
Recreate textures and PBR materials for models and world space according to concepts, references, and/or art direction;
Use existing Assets and content to populate the game world in a believable and visually appealing way;
You will operate within given constraints.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Skills
Experience with creating game-ready assets with a full pipeline;
Knowledge of UE4 production pipeline and constraints;
Expert knowledge of at least one major modeling package (3dsMaX or equivalent), along with industry-standard tools such as Photoshop, Substance Painter/Designer, and Zbrush;
Expert knowledge of PBR systems with the ability to texture using both procedural and hand-painted approaches;
Deep knowledge and experience with creating and maintaining game levels;
An understanding of and appreciation for milestones, schedules, deadlines, and efficient game development processes.
As a Plus:
Level design experience;
Knowledge of Unity;
A keen eye for dramatic environments and lighting design;
You are autonomous and can take responsibility for your own actions and decisions.
